RESIDENTS PARKING PERMITS
Residents parking spaces are part of the standard parking spaces located in residential areas. They are marked with a turquoise line or with ‘Resident Permit Only’ MAWAQiF signage.
| Usage and timing | Using these parking spaces is limited to residents with parking permits between 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM at no additional cost. Whereas the same parking spaces might be used by the public (non-permit holders) outside of these timings after paying the fees. |
VILLA RESIDENT PARKING
Villa residents parking spaces are located in villa areas. They are marked with ‘Villa Resident Permit Only’ MAWAQiF signage.
| Usage | Using these parking spaces is limited to villa residents parking permit holders. They may park their vehicles in the allocated zone at no additional cost all day. Visitors can park their cars in these spaces after obtaining Villa Visitors Parking permit by parking correctly before 2:00 AM. |
| Villa Visitors Parking Permit | The villa owner may request a parking permit for a visitor by sending an SMS from the registered phone number in the system, up to 4 phone numbers can be registered. The permit will be valid for 6 hours once the request is submitted between 2:00 to 8:00 morning. |

Villa/Resident Parking Permit
Residents’ permits are issued to the property owner or tenant in addition to first- and second-degree
relatives living in the same residence. Click here to apply for the service.

UAE Nationals: Apartment: 4 or according to the inspector's report. Villa: As per inspector's report. |
Non-UAE Nationals: 2 permits, and as per inspector's report for additional permits requested. |

Managing and operating multi-storey parking buildings
There are three public multi-storey car parks within Abu Dhabi operated by Q Mobility which include 1605 parking spaces. Holders of multi-storey permit can use it in all buildings in Abu Dhabi City.
